Comprehensive Examination |

Our evaluation is extensive but individualized according to age, gender, medical history, specific needs, and medical examination findings. We offer our services to individuals age 12 and older. Our extensive comprehensive exam takes six to eight hours to complete. The evaluation procedures are as follows.
Medical Examination and Counseling Includes reviewing the medical history and performing the medical examination, which may include a flexible sigmoidoscopy procedure, pap test, and pelvic examination.
Cardiovascular Screening May include a resting EKG, exercise stress testing, multi-detector computed tomography (MDCT), nuclear stress testing, echocardiography, and CT angiography.
Laboratory Testing Includes a cholesterol profile, blood sugar level, complete blood count, homocysteine, urinalysis, high sensitivity C-reactive protein, thyroid stimulating hormone, vitamin D, and other important tests.
Medical Screening Includes hearing, vision, and pulmonary testing; body fat measurement; oral cancer screening; and a strength and flexibility test.
Nutrition Consultations Include a computerized analysis of a three-day food record and personalized recommendations from a registered dietitian.
Radiology Procedures Include X-rays, digital mammography, osteoporosis screening, sonography, CT images, and other studies as needed.
Gastroenterology Procedures May include flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and virtual colonoscopy.
Skin Cancer Screening A head-to-toe screening for evidence of skin cancer.
Optional Services
Include Psychological Stress Assessment; exercise consultation; FAA certification: Class I, II, or III; and Cooper Coach, one-on-one health guidance by phone.
Comprehensive Written Report Provides each patient interpretive test results and outlines recommendations for a healthy lifestyle.
