Colleen Loveland, MS, RDN, LD, CDCES

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Colleen Loveland is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist and board-certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Science and internship from the University of Central Oklahoma. Her areas of specialization include diabetes management, cardiovascular health and weight management. She most recently completed a course in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and the low FODMAP diet.

Colleen has served in her dual role as a Cooper Clinic dietitian as well as director of Cooper Clinic for the past five years. Her passion for helping people achieve good health by providing nutrition support and guidance for disease prevention and management has benefited our patients since 2005. With nearly 30 years of experience in nutrition and dietetics, Colleen has also worked in hospital-based nutrition and outpatient settings in the Dallas area and taught “Principles of Nutrition” at Tarrant County Community College and Dallas County Community College.

Colleen is a member of the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and American Association of Diabetes Educators. She participates in Practice Groups: Diabetes, Sports and Human Performance and Dietitians in Medical Nutrition Therapy.

Colleen and her husband, Craig, enjoy many activities including exercise, church and spending time with their two grown children, Mark and Megan.
