- What is health coaching?
Health coaching is one-on-one interaction with a highly trained health professional. Personal health coaching is conducted on the telephone through conveniently scheduled bi-weekly appointments with the same health coach each time. Your coach will work with you to develop actions and goals to drive positive, sustainable behavior change. Your coach doesn't bark orders at you or give you cheap advice. Your coach will help you make the right plan for your health in conjunction with your doctor's recommendations.
- Where can I have my sessions?
Your sessions with your Personal Health Coach will always be conducted over the telephone. Your coach can call you at home, on your cell phone, during your lunch break at work...or you can call your coach at his/her direct toll free phone number.
- How long are my sessions?
Your first and second sessions will be 30 minutes; follow-up sessions will be 10-15 minutes.
- How often do I schedule appointments?
You and your coach will determine how often your sessions will be. Typically people speak with their coach every two weeks.
- How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
As soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment, please call to reschedule. Even if you call 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment, it is still helpful for your coach. (The phone number is 866-523-8185.)
- Is health coaching confidential?
Personal health coaching with Cooper Coach is completely confidential. What you share with your health coach is kept between the two of you.
- What are Cooper Coach's hours of operation?
Cooper Coach operates on Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Some appointments may be scheduled on Saturday if needed.
