He was the assistant coach at Southern Methodist University, Florida State University, University of Tulsa, and University of Tennessee, and head coach at the University of Akron.

Martial Arts
Master the arts of Karate, Jujitsu, Kobudo, and much more. Private and group instruction options are available, including weekly programs for adults and children. Come join Martial Arts professionals Mike Proctor and Ron Owens for an experience you will never forget.

Soccer
Does your child need extra skills coaching or one-on-one attention from a soccer expert before his or her next club team tryout? Are your children just starting to play soccer and need a few tips about the sport? Sessions with our soccer pro, Diego Hincapie, will help your children enhance their agility, speed, and conditioning.

Swimming
Instruction for beginners through advanced swimmers is available. Join Master level swimmer and experienced teacher and coach, Ann Scherbarth, for private/semi-private lessons and Master swim classes year-round. Also, be sure to enroll your children in the Swim Academy at Cooper Fitness Center for professional swim lessons this summer.

Tennis
Our instructors Bill Hammett and Frank Velario, both certified teaching pros, specialize in private, group, youth, and wheelchair tennis lessons.

Running
Whether you've just added running to your exercise routine or you're already a competitive runner, Diane Proud can personalize a program for you. She offers private and group training sessions along with 5K, 15K, and marathon training. Diane has more than 20 years of personal running experience as an amateur road racer.
