Dr. Waziha Samin is an Optometrist specializing in ocular disease at Cooper Clinic. She received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from The University of Texas at Austin and a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Samin completed her residency in ocular disease at Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas.
After completing her residency, Dr. Samin provided optometric services such as routine eye care, contact lens fitting, geriatric eye care, peri-surgical management and ocular disease management at a variety of vision centers across Dallas-Fort Worth. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association and Dallas County Optometric Society. She also completed an ocular disease fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry. With her passion for eye care and extensive experience, she enjoys educating her patients about their eye wellness while also catering to their specific visual needs.
Dr. Samin is fluent in English, Hindi, Bengali and Clinical Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys listening to podcasts and traveling with her husband and daughter.
