Regardless of your age or physical health, an annual comprehensive eye exam is important for detecting any eye problems at early stages. Even if you have 20/20 vision, an eye exam can be a measure of overall health. The eyes are the only part of the body where arteries and veins can be viewed without having to perform surgery. Signs of stroke, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis and more can be identified through an eye exam.

Cooper Clinic preventive optometry services include:

Eye Health Exam
Eye exam including a series of tests to evaluate vision and screen for diseases of the eye. Retinal imaging is performed without the need for dilation. Glasses prescription included. Annually.

Eye Health+
Recommended for patients 50 and older or patients with diabetes. Includes the general Eye Health Exam in addition to screening for glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Annually.

Additional services are available such as contact lens fitting.

Cooper Clinic Optometrist Waziha Samin, OD, FAAO, specializes in ocular disease. She enjoys educating her patients about their eye wellness while also catering to their specific visual needs.
