Summer Fit & Fun Camp

2022 Camp Registration Update
The countdown is on! Our Cooper summer camps begin June 6 and the sessions are filling up, so register today!

  • Kids Camp (ages 5-7): Week 5 (mini-session, July 6-8), is open for registration; all other sessions are full
     
  • Youth Camp (ages 8-13): Week 7 (July 18-22), Week 9 (August 1-5) and Week 10 (August 8-12) are open for registration; all other sessions are full
     


KIDS CAMP
Ages 5-7


This day camp introduces various sports, physically-active games and overall wellness through daily fitness and nutrition lessons. Each week has a different schedule of games and sports that could include:

  • Sports such as soccer, volleyball and tennis
  • Games such as relay races and parachute games
  • Water Day each Friday—water games (no swimming)

Through these activities, campers will enhance their agility, balance, coordination and social interaction.

Age Your child must be turning 5 by September 1 to enroll in Kids Camp. Each camp session is limited to a 10:1 camper-staff ratio.

9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

ADD-ON OPTIONS

1. Splash Camp

Following Kids Camp, campers can enjoy a special swim session. Splash Campers will be chaperoned to change into swim suits and enjoy time in the pool. Must be able to swim 30 feet and have no fear of the water. This is not a swim lesson. Space is limited due to ratios in the pool.

Monday-Friday, 2:30-4 p.m.

$115/week (Mini-session: $70)
(added to your Kids Camp registration fee; must register in advance when you register for Kids Camp)

2. Extended Care Hours
Morning (7:30-9 a.m.): $40/week
Afternoon (4-5:30 p.m.): $40/week (for Splash Campers only)
Available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Limited to 10 campers per week.

Mini-session extended care: $35

3. Lunch Kid Campers must bring their lunch or purchase a lunch from Cedars Woodfire Grill at Cooper Aerobics for $6.75/lunch. Campers can place their Cedars lunch order each Monday.

YOUTH CAMP
Ages 8-13


This action-packed day camp allows kids to try different sports and activities including:

  • Swimming, tennis, basketball, volleyball and more
  • Games such as blob tag, pillo pollo, capture the flag and relays
  • Daily fitness/sport or nutrition lesson that helps empower campers to make healthy choices and learn how fun fitness and wellness can be

Age Your child must be turning 8 by September 1 to enroll in Youth Camp. Each camp session is limited to a 10:1 camper-staff ratio.

Times June 6-August 12
One-week sessions, Monday-Friday
Full Day: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Half Day: 9 a.m.-noon OR 1-4 p.m.

Tennis Summer Camp

For beginner and intermediate players ages 5-16, Cooper Summer Tennis Camps focus on developing stroke and serving techniques while teaching players how to use the strokes in play appropriately. Visit our Junior Tennis Programs web page to learn more and register.

Swim Lessons

Our Swim Pro, Marni Kerner, works with children of all ages, infants to teens. She has more than 20 years of experience teaching swimming, including coaching The Hockaday School and Alcuin School swim teams.

We offer:

  • Private and semi-private lessons
  • Triathlon swim training
  • Swim team preparation training
