Interested in working with older adults to extend their functional years?

Cooper Aerobics offers Move.Laugh.Connect. (MLC), an advanced certificate of qualification for fitness professionals interested in working with older adults with limited mobility, health issues or the desire to improve brain health and fitness. Watch this brief video to learn more about the program.

This online MLC certification addresses the importance of one’s:

  • Physical
  • Emotional
  • And social dimensions

Each educational module contains:

  • A variety of lectures
  • Recorded group classes
  • Practical application

Students learn how to integrate brain health as well as socialization, laughter and movement activities in a group class or one-on-one setting. Upon successful completion of the MLC online training, students are eligible to teach MLC classes in their facility of employment and/or in private settings.

Learning Objectives

  3. Students will design an MLC class based on the information and practical experienced received throughout the training.
