Chocolate Mint Brownies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup egg substitute or 6 egg whites
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 16 oz. can chocolate syrup
  • Nonstick vegetable cooking spray

Frosting

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
  • 2 tsp. skim milk
  • A few drops of green food coloring (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Stir all brownie ingredients together until just combined.
  3. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan that has been coated with cooking spray.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes then, allow to cool.
  5. Combine frosting ingredients and mix until smooth. Spread over cooled brownies.
