Easy Grilled Asparagus with Balsamic Vinegar and Fresh Herbs

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ lb. fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp. balsamic or red wine vinegar (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat grill. Snap off tough ends of asparagus or trim with a knife.
  2. Brush asparagus with oil and vinegar.
  3. Arrange asparagus in grill basket or perpendicular to the grates.
  4. Grill three minutes, turn and cook three more minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender, being careful not to burn.
  5. Sprinkle with favorite fresh herbs.
