Cooper Clinic Platinum Expands Concierge Medical Practice

Preventive Medicine Physician Dr. Steven M. Lilly Joins Platinum Practice

DALLAS (March 17, 2021) – Cooper Clinic announces the addition of Dr. Steven M. Lilly as a preventive medicine physician. Dr. Lilly also joins Cooper Clinic Platinum, the concierge medical practice at Cooper Clinic in Dallas. Dr. Lilly most recently worked as a director of the outpatient resident clinic and staff physician at the Dallas VA Medical Center. “We are pleased to welcome Dr. Steve Lilly to the Cooper Clinic Platinum team,” said Camron Nelson, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cooper Clinic. “Dr. Lilly has strong credentials and a proven leadership record, and will help to round out the expanding concierge medical practice at Cooper.”

Dr. Lilly joins Cooper Clinic from the Dallas VA Medical Center and UT Southwestern Medical School where he facilitated resident physician education in the outpatient VA clinic and served as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine. He will join the Platinum team, alongside Michael Chapman, MD; Emily Hebert, MD; Riva Rahl, MD; and Medical Director Christopher D. Abel, MD. In his role, he will perform comprehensive Cooper preventive examinations and also manage 24/7 care of his concierge patient panel.

“Joining our Cooper Clinic Platinum practice gives me the opportunity to spend ample time meeting the needs of my patients on a preventive level as well as primary and acute care,” said Steven Lilly, MD. “In my new role within Cooper Clinic Platinum, I’m pleased to maintain primary care relationships while continuing to focus on comprehensive patient wellness.”

Dr. Lilly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biomedical Engineering from Harvard University and earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He later received a Master in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Lilly is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Steven Lilly has been a member of the Society of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Lilly enjoys attending and volunteering with his church, Fellowship Dallas. He resides in Richardson with his wife and two children.
