 Ryan Harris, MD, Joins Cooper Clinic’s Prevention Practice

DALLAS (August 22, 2022) – Cooper Clinic announces the addition of Dr. F. Ryan Harris as a preventive medicine physician in Dallas. Dr. Harris joins Cooper from Crossroads Medical Group in White House, Tennessee, where he worked as a family medicine physician specializing in chronic disease management, mental wellness, in-office procedures, preventive medicine and urgent care. A Dallas native, Dr. Harris attended St. Mark’s School of Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University and earned a certificate in Biomedical Sciences from The University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Harris attended The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School where he earned his Doctor of Medicine before completing his residency in family medicine at Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, Indiana. While there, he also received a Global Health Certificate. Dr. Harris is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Harris has participated in a variety of volunteer roles providing health services at refugee camps in Athens, Greece and conducting sports physicals for high school and college teams. He is fluent in English and Spanish and has served as an interpreter at the Monday Clinic in Dallas, providing free health services for underserved populations. Dr. Harris enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, listening to music and exercising. He is a second-degree black belt with an appreciation for mixed martial arts.
