  1. Striving to always provide you the latest and greatest workout equipment, over the next few months we’ll be replacing all cardio equipment and select strength training equipment. To date,  two new StairMasters and new FreeMotion® weight equipment have been installed. We will keep you posted as new equipment arrives.
     
  2. Continue your quest to good health with our annual Cooperthon challenge, Oct. 2-Nov. 5, and accumulate more minutes of exercise than last year. The goal is 1,000 minutes to earn a prize and 2,500 minutes for elite participant status. Download the tracking log or pick one up at the Service Desk.
     
  3. You’re invited to our Fashionably Fit & Fab event on Thursday, Oct. 19, 3-5 p.m., in the Mind/Body and Private Pilates Studios. It’ll be an afternoon of wellness, beauty and fashion to introduce new fall clothing and jewelry lines from The Coop; chair massage, makeup touchups and new fall lines from Cooper Spa; Pilates demos and much more. Flu season is here—protect yourself and others by getting a flu vaccination at Cooper Fitness Center, Tuesday, Oct. 17, 9 a.m.-noon, and Wednesday, Oct. 18, 4-7 p.m. Cost: $25.99 or $57 for the high-dose vaccine.   5. Join Drs. Kenneth and Tyler Cooper at The Cooper Institute’s Legacy Award Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 2. The evening will include a tour of Globe Life Park in Arlington—the home of the Texas Rangers baseball team—dinner and special guest speaker George Brett, a former Kansas City Royals third baseman and designated hitter. Tickets are available.
